A Private Pilot License is where every pilot's journey begins. It is the foundation of all future flight training and gives you the freedom to fly an aircraft on your own. Whether your goal is to fly for personal enjoyment or to build toward a professional aviation career, this license provides the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to take control of the cockpit.

Flight Time's Private Pilot program is designed to guide you step by step from your first flight lesson to flying solo. You will learn the fundamentals of aircraft control, navigation, communication, and safe decision making while building strong habits that will support every rating you pursue in the future.

Hands On Training from Day One

The Private Pilot License program includes 30 hours of dual flight instruction with one of our experienced instructors. During these flights, you will learn how to take off, land, navigate, and safely operate the aircraft while developing strong situational awareness.

You will also complete 10 hours of solo flight time, giving you the opportunity to apply what you have learned and build confidence flying independently.

In addition, the program provides 20 hours of ground instruction, where you will sharpen your aviation knowledge, including regulations, weather, aerodynamics, and flight planning. This ensures you are fully prepared not only for the checkride, but for real world flying.
