What is time building and how does it benefit my pilot career?

Is it possible to obtain 100 hours in just 10 days?

Can I log PIC time during my time building experience?

Yes, in shared Time Building, both pilots may log PIC time when the flight is conducted under simulated instrument conditions.

What happens if the aircraft has a breakdown?

Breakdowns are extremely rare given our preventative maintenance protocols. Should one occur, we have a full 24/7 maintenance team on staff ready to get you back in the air as soon as possible.

How is flight time calculated (Tach vs Hobbs)?

Flight hours are calculated and billed using the Hobbs meter, which records the time the engine is running.

Are there any cancellation fees for weather?

No, there are no cancellation fees if you decide to cancel the flight due to weather conditions you deem unsafe. Safety is always our top priority.

When you finish your Commercial Pilot License, you have 250 hours. To qualify for the airlines you still need to build another 1,250 hours.

Most pilots become a Certified Flight Instructor to get there — but instructors are limited to 8 flight hours per day, spend much of their time teaching ground school, and only log time when students actually show up. That's why the traditional path takes two to three years.
