Becoming a Certified Flight Instructor is one of the most rewarding steps in a pilot's career. You have already put in the work to earn your certificates, and now you have the chance to help others do the same. As a flight instructor, you play a direct role in shaping safe, confident, and knowledgeable pilots. Teaching also deepens your understanding of aviation, strengthening your skills every time you step into the cockpit or the classroom.

Our Certified Flight Instructor program is designed to prepare you for that responsibility. You will learn how to teach, explain, and demonstrate the maneuvers and procedures you already know, while developing the confidence needed to instruct students at every stage of their training.

Complete Training to Prepare You for Instruction

You will complete 10 hours of dual flight instruction in a Cessna 172 or Piper Archer. During this time, you will train from the right seat while learning how to properly demonstrate maneuvers, explain procedures, and correct student errors in real time.

The program also includes 20 hours of dedicated ground instruction with one of our experienced instructors. These sessions focus on lesson planning, effective teaching techniques, and clear communication, helping you present complex concepts in a way students can easily understand.

In addition, the program covers testing and written exam preparation for the Certified Flight Instructor certification.
