Visiting My Flight Time at KFXE

Our flight school and time building operation is based in Hangar 42D at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE), 1811 NW 51st Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. KFXE is a towered Class D airport about six miles north of downtown Fort Lauderdale and roughly 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International (FLL) and 45 minutes from Miami International (MIA). Parking is free on the field, and walk-in visitors are welcome between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, seven days a week.

If you are arriving by air, contact us in advance and we will coordinate transient parking and a ramp escort. Out-of-state and international pilots can stay in our on-field pilot accommodations, which are minutes from the hangar.

What Happens After You Reach Out

A member of our team responds to every enquiry, usually the same business day. On that first call we cover four things: your current certificates and total time, the certificate or hour goal you are working toward, your realistic timeline, and your budget. From there we build a written quote using the published rates on our pricing page — no hidden fuel surcharges, no instructor markup after the fact.

If you are building hours, we will confirm aircraft availability for your dates before you book travel. If you are starting training, we will walk you through medical certification, the FAA student pilot application, and — for international students — the M-1 visa and TSA security threat assessment process.
