Choosing Between Pilot Training Programs
Most students either train certificate by certificate or enroll in a bundled career program. Bundles lock in a clear path; single certificates let you pace spending.
Our Programs and Prices
Private Pilot License: $11,750. Instrument Rating course: $11,500. Commercial Pilot License: $3,125 single engine or $10,250 multi engine. Multi Engine Add-On: $5,125.
Certified Flight Instructor: $4,250; CFII $4,250; MEI $5,500.
Professional Pilot Program: $39,175 (single) or $45,500 (multi). Airline Pilot Program: $124,500.
Where Training Happens
All programs fly from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (KFXE), 1811 NW 51st Street, Hangar 42D. Accommodations near the airport are available for students traveling to train.
Private Pilot License (PPL)
The Private Pilot License is the foundation for every other certificate. The FAA minimum is 40 hours of flight time, including dual instruction, solo flight, cross-country and night training, followed by a written knowledge test and a practical checkride. Our program is $11,750.
Instrument Rating
The Instrument Rating teaches you to fly solely by reference to instruments and to operate in clouds under IFR. It requires 40 hours of instrument time and 50 hours of cross-country PIC time. It makes you a safer pilot and is required for any airline career. The course is $11,500.
Commercial Pilot License and Multi Engine
A Commercial Pilot License lets you fly for compensation and requires 250 total hours. Many students build hours through our time building program and then complete the commercial course ($3,125 single engine). The Multi Engine Add-On ($5,125) is flown in our Piper Seneca or Beechcraft Duchess.
Flight Instructor Certificates (CFI, CFII, MEI)
Becoming an instructor is the most common way to build hours toward 1,500 while getting paid. CFI is $4,250, CFII $4,250 and MEI $5,500.
Career Programs: Professional and Airline Pilot
The Professional Pilot Program bundles PPL, Instrument, Commercial and time building into one path from $39,175. The Airline Pilot Program ($124,500) takes you from zero experience to the 1,500 hours airlines require, with a single plan and published price.
Which Program Is Right for You?
If you want to fly for fun or aren't sure yet, start with a discovery flight and the Private Pilot License. If you already know you want an airline career, a bundled program gives a clearer timeline and budget. Licensed pilots can jump straight into the rating or time building they need.
