1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and My Flight Time, a flight training school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. By using our website or services, you confirm you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Our Services

My Flight Time offers:

• Discovery flights for prospective student pilots
• Private Pilot License (PPL) training
• Instrument Rating training
• Commercial Pilot License (CPL) training
• Additional certifications and endorsements
• Ground school and flight theory instruction

All training is conducted by FAA-certified flight instructors (CFIs) in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).

3. Eligibility

To participate you must:

• Be at least 16 to solo (17 to hold a private pilot certificate), per FAA regulations
• Read, speak, write, and understand English
• Meet applicable FAA medical requirements
• Complete required enrollment forms and waivers prior to participation

My Flight Time reserves the right to deny services to any individual for safety or regulatory reasons.

4. Enrollment & Scheduling

Submission of an inquiry or booking form does not guarantee enrollment until you receive confirmation from a My Flight Time representative. You are responsible for scheduling sessions within any agreed timeline. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, airspace restrictions, aircraft maintenance, or other factors beyond our control.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Discovery Flights: Cancellations at least 24 hours in advance will not be charged. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee.
• Training Programs: Refunds are determined per your enrollment agreement. Florida law may provide additional rights regarding prepaid flight training contracts.
• Weather Cancellations: No fee will be charged for cancellations due to weather or safety concerns determined by your instructor. The session will be rescheduled at no cost.

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing.

6. Payment Terms

All fees are in U.S. dollars. My Flight Time may adjust pricing with reasonable notice. Changes will not affect already-paid services. Unpaid balances may result in suspension of training.

7. Assumption of Risk & Waiver

Aviation activities involve inherent risks. By participating in any flight activity with My Flight Time, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with flight training and aviation. Prior to any flight activity, you will sign a separate Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability waiver. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign on your behalf.

8. Medical & Safety Requirements

You may be required to obtain an FAA Medical Certificate for the certificate or rating you are pursuing. You are responsible for determining your medical eligibility. You agree to disclose to your instructor any condition or medication that may affect your fitness to fly.

The use of alcohol, controlled substances, or any impairing medication within 8 hours of a flight, or while under the influence as defined by FAA regulations, is strictly prohibited and may result in termination from the program.

9. Communications Consent

By submitting a form and providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from My Flight Time via email, phone, and SMS regarding your inquiry, enrollment, scheduling, and follow-up.

• Message and data rates may apply

10. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape our website without written permission
• Submit false or fraudulent information
• Engage in activity that could damage or impair our website

11. Intellectual Property

All website content including text, images, logos, videos, and course materials is the property of My Flight Time and protected by applicable law. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written permission.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Information regarding FAA regulations or training requirements is for general informational purposes only and is not legal or regulatory advice.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Flight Time shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 90 days preceding the claim.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of state and federal courts in Broward County, Florida. Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to contact us in good faith to resolve any dispute informally.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of our site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
