An instrument rating lets you fly in clouds and is required for nearly every professional pilot path. The FAA requires 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument time and 50 hours of cross-country pilot-in-command time. Our instrument program is $11,500 plus books and exam fees. Flying full time, many students finish in four to eight weeks.

Building the 50 Cross-Country Hours
Many pilots arrive short on cross-country PIC. A small time building block before instrument training fixes that at a lower rate.
