PIC Time and Shared Time Building
Solo time building means every hour is logged as Pilot in Command — straight to your ATP minimums. In shared time building, both pilots may log PIC time when the flight is conducted under simulated instrument conditions, doubling the PIC efficiency of every flight.

Can both pilots log PIC time during shared time building?
Yes. Under 14 CFR 61.51, the pilot flying under a view-limiting device logs PIC, and the safety pilot logs PIC as a required crew member for that portion of the flight.
How is flight time calculated — Hobbs or Tach?
We bill on the Hobbs meter, which starts when the engine starts. Nothing is estimated and nothing is rounded up, so your logbook and your invoice always match.
What happens to my booking if South Florida weather turns?
You are the pilot in command, so the go or no-go call is yours, and there is no penalty or rebooking fee when you stand down for weather you consider unsafe.
