Conditions aren’t always the most ideal, but we still have to fly. With an Instrument Rating Add-on, you’ll have the skills to be able to fly safely even if the weather isn’t cooperating with you. For those wanting to make aviation a career, instrument flying is an ESSENTIAL skill for you to master.

Flight Time’s Instrument Program

is a 40 hours program that will make sure you’re proficient with instrument flying. You will be flying around the state practicing approaches, operating in different airspaces, and being able to navigate and fly only using your instruments. You’ll also have 10 hours of access to our sims to help sharpen your instrument skills before getting into the plane.

Our program also includes 20 hours of ground instruction with our instructors. Once complete you’ll understand be able to brief approaches, departures, and other IFR documents. This knowledge is something all the airlines will require you to have before joining them.
